Common Scedule for Preparing a Master’s thesis and Examination Criteria

First year:
April: Register subjects. Make a research plan for the thesis.
April―June:Select the research theme.
July: Set research theme.
July―September:Follow the results of preceding researches.
September―November:Create an interim report.
December:Submit an tnterim report to the research supervisor.
January-March:Collect and research the primary original materials.

Second year:
April:Register subjects.
April-June:Follw relevant research literature.
July-September:Study the primary original materials and related literature.
Early October:Submit the title of the master’s thesis.
October-November:Make a draft for the master’s thesis.
December:Put a master’s thesis.
Early January:Submit a master’s thesis for the examination.
Early February:Take an oral exam.
Mid February:Present at the master’s thesis presentation.
Early March:Submit the final manuscript for bookbinding.
Mid March:A master (law) degree is awarded.

Examination criteria

  1. Is setteing the research theme appropriate?
  2. Is the problem consciousness clear?
  3. Is the description of the paper sufficient and appropriate?
  4. Does it consist of consequent logic?
  5. Does adopt appropriate study method, research method or argumentation method?
  6. Does conduct concrete analysis und consideration?
  7. If foreign languages are necessary, do foreign languages abilities to that end have reached a sufficient level?

First year
April:Register subjects. Make a reserach plan for the thesis.
April-June:Select the theme of thesis.
July:Set the theme of thesis.
July-September:Follow the preceding researches.
September-November:Create the first interim report.
December:Submit the first tnterim report to the research supervisor.
January-March:Collect and research the primary original materials.

Second year
April:register subjects. Review the research plan for the thesis.
April-June:Follow the relevant research literature.
July-October:Collect and research the primary original materials.
October-November:Create the second interim report.
December:Submit the second interim report to the research supervisor.
January-March:Collect and research the primary original materials.

Third year
April-June:Create a draft table of contents of the paper. Investigate the relevant literature.
October-November:Make draft for the doctoral dissertation.
End November:Complete the doctoral thesis for review and submit the doctoral thesis.
December:Take the doctoral thesis review.
End January or Early February:Take an oral examination. Present at the doctoral dissertaion as a public presentation.
Early March:Submit the completed final manuscript for bookbinding.
Mid March:A doctor(law) degree is awarded.

Examination criteria

  1. Explain why you chose the research theme and its significance?
  2. Is it written based on adequate original materials?
  3. Is the citation of the materials accurate?
  4. Is it written systematically?
  5. Does explicitly stae the signifcance of research results?
  6. Have sufficient foreign langaue abilities?
